Goodrich Supports SMCC Engineering Students

On a beautiful April morning, the Goodrich Foundation made SMCC's Engineering Department a little MORE beautiful---with a gift of $25,000 to the Maricopa Foundation, specifically earmarked for development of a new engineering class here at South Mountain.

The check presentation was attended by Phoenix Mayor Phil Gordon and was a highlight of this spring's annual "Be An Engineer" Day, coordinated by Dr. Tim Frank. Also featured were the ever-popular student catapult and robotics competitions, and many, many free pizzas!
